Jasper Morrison

 

   

I like Morrisons products as they are very contemporary and sleek.He really thinks about how the materials he uses can be made into a quirky simple design which look well made and expensive. I like the neutral colours as they show the product off well.

Phillipe Starck

Starck creates products which are modern and elegant.I like The way he uses different materials for his products and doesn't go overboard with bright colours and adds rich colours in with dark to create one of a kind products.I also like the shapes he uses as the orange hanging chair above looks really comfy.

 

Marcel Lajos Breuer

 

Breuer was a modernist architect furniture designer. He studied at the Bauhaus in the 1920's. 

 

Marianne Brandt

Brandt also studied at the Bauhaus. I like the bold metalic shapes in her products.

 

Victor and Rolf

I wanted to show Viktor and Rolf as product designers and not fashion designers as they create pieces which take a lot of planning and are original and look more like products not just fashion.I like how they merge together fashion and 3d design, especially the dresses with their own light stand around, this shows they have thought about creating something which is really different.
