Life drawing

The first life drawing lesson I worked on getting the proportions of the body right e.g. making sure the head was the right size for the body. using only charcoal for this was hard because I found it difficult to get a perfect edge. overall I enjoyed the first lesson.

I researched artists including Cara Walker, Chris Ofili and Neo Rauch.

I like how Cara Walker uses black paper cut outs to create silhouettes.

Chris Ofili uses bright colours in his paintings, they are very bold and original.
